Sterling Fractal Galleries -- Version 1.7Sterling v1.7 is the newest in the Sterling Fractal series of fractal generating software. Even now it's a couple of years old, but obviously it's not showing its age. The difference between Sterling and Tierazon is only clear once you've generated a few hundred images from each. They have their characteristic style.

Sterling Fractal Galleries -- Version 0.6Sterling v0.6 created most or all of the following pictures. This was an earlier version of Sterling Fractal which I used accidentally, thinking it was the newest version. But it seems mostly bug-free, so it's worth having a copy.

Tierazon (version 1) GalleriesTierazon version 1. I actually prefer this to Tierazon2. This program does create some nifty fractals in its own right. I'm not sure whether or not I can consider Tierazon2 a replacement for Tierazon. I have not been able to recreate these image styles using Tierazon2 as yet.

Making Your Own Fractal ArtIt used to be you could find these programs at Ferguson's Fractal Pages or do a search on Google for Tierazon, Sterling, Fractal, Iterations et Flarium. That used to find some active mirror of these awesome fractal generating programs. However! I've done extensive web searches recently and cannot find these programs anywhere anymore. I have mirrored all the programs I have a copy of here on this site. The types of parameter files indicate which program made them. Here is a short chart showing the extension vs. which program takes that parameter file:
